Greenville Man Arrested After Several Pounds Of Pot Found

Several pounds of pot have landed a Greenville man behind bars.

Omar Orr was arrested last Thursday by the Greenville Regional Drug Task Force at his apartment on Brighton Park Drive.

Police say after a search warrant, they seized 2-1/2 pounds of hydroponically grown marijuana. That's pot grown without soil. They estimate it had a street value of $10,000.

The 38-year-old Orr was charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.

Orr was jailed on a $25,000 bond.
