Greenville Bust Turns Up Nearly 6 Pounds Of Pot, Cash

Greenville police say a drug bust turned up nearly 6 pounds of marijuana and they say one of the suspects was wanted for parole violations.

Last night Greenville police arrested 22-year-old Justin Johnson and 30-year-old Jeremy Venable following a search of home on Lakeview Terrace. Officers say they located and seized 5.6 pounds of marijuana and $885.

Johnson was wanted for parole violations and had outstanding arrest warrants. He and Venable are both charged with several drug offenses, including possession with intent to sell and deliver within 1000 feet of a school.
