Goldsboro Man Charged With Rape
A Goldsboro man is behind bars and under a half of million dollar bond for rape.
Officers say 20-year-old Tayvon Hawkins raped a juvenile victim at a vacant residence on North Kornegay street last week.
Police say the two had considered themselves a couple in the past.
Hawkins went before a magistrate and received a half million dollar secure bond.
