Gas Station Break-In Suspect Arrested

Police said they arrested a man on New Year's Eve for a break-in two nights before.

Demetrius "Peanut" Pratt is currently in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $15,000 bond. Bethel Police said Pratt broke into the Thrifty Mart on West Washington Street in Bethel on December 29th.

No one was injured during the break-in.

Pratt is charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, and a misdemeanor charge of injury to real property.
