A man facing statutory rape charges in Kentucky has been arrested in Eastern Carolina.
The Carteret County sheriff's office reports 19-year-old William Bratcher was found living on Nine Foot Road in Newport.
Lawmen say Bratcher was wanted in connection with statutory rape charges obtained by the Kentucky State Police 18 months ago.
They say it's believed Bratcher was living in North Carolina for the past six months.
Bratcher was placed in the Carteret County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Kentucky.
