Friends of a teenager wounded in a school shooting last month are asking for help.

Fifteen-year-old Catilyn Abercrombie remains in the hospital after being shot in the neck October 24th while standing outside for lunch at Cape Fear High school in Fayetteville. The girl is being treated at Duke University Medical Center and is said to be in critical but stable condition. Two other students are charged in the case.

Now the local 959 United Steel Worker's union has adopted Catilyn's family which is in need of the community's assistance with medical bills and living expenses. You can help by calling the union at 910-822-1906
