A woman who scored big in the state lottery on Monday became a crime victim Wednesday night.
Kinston police are searching for the four gunmen they say forced their way into Gail McMillian's home and robbed her.
McMillian told officers that all four men were armed and wearing masks. They opened her screen door and made the woman lay face down on the floor.
The robbers only made off with the woman's cell phone and $25. The victim says the gunman also searched her vehicle.
McMillian won $30,000 in a lottery scratch off game and alerted lottery officials on Monday of the win. Her husband, who was at work at the time, says he believes the gunman were searching for the winnings.
Police say they are still following up on leads in the case.
