Four Charged In Martin County Business Break-In Spree

Four people have been charged in a rash a business break-ins that hit one Eastern Carolina county over three days last month.

Martin County deputies have charged Amy Nicholson, Michael Donlan and Christopher Hardison II, all of Williamston, with multiple counts of felony breaking, entering and larceny, attempted felony breaking and entering and injury to real property.

Deputies say a juvenile has also been charged in the case and more arrests are expected.

The four are suspected of breaking into the Bear Grass Mart, Parkway Ag, Harris Food Mart, Barnhill Construction on US Hwy 64, Leggett & Gurganus Peanut Company, Chapel Hill Baptist Church, and Coastal Agro-business on Highway 125.

Deputies say the break-ins all happened at night between December 12th and December 15th.
