A man who briefly eluded police by walking out of a police interrogation room three years ago, is in trouble with the law again.
Justin Barnes, 23 and his apparent brother, 20-year-old Kentrayne Barnes, both of Paris Ave. in Greenville, were booked in the Pitt County Detention Center on drug charges Thursday. The two are charged with
possession with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Barnes is no stranger to the law. He was arrested in a high-profile case in October 2008. Lawmen say he sneaked out of a police interrogation room while under arrest for armed robbery. He was caught at a local motel two days later. Barnes spent time in prison for the armed robbery.
Both suspects have bonds set at $20,000.
