The former town manager of Maysville pleaded no contest to falsifying records and tampering with sewage discharge samples at the town's sewage treatment plant.
In May Billy Ray Waddell was arrested by the SBI on 22 criminal charges. He was given a consolidated 60-day suspended sentence and ordered to pay nearly $1,000 in court costs and fines.
The 61-year-old retired a few days after his arrest.
