One of three men accused in a spree of cellular store robberies last April and May in Pitt County will spent the next 11 years in federal prison.
Julius Hobbs of Greenville was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Malcolm Howard.
Hobbs pleaded guilty in August to the armed robberies at the Sunshine Wireless store in Ayden, the U.S. Cellular store in Winterville, and another U.S. Cellular store on Greenville Boulevard. The feds say $5761 was taken in the three hold-ups.
James Acklin and Marquail Mouring, both of Greenville, pleaded guilty and are awaiting sentencing.
