The Greene County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that happened in Snow Monday night. Sheriff Lemmie Smith told WITN's Hilary Magacs that shooting happened about 8:30 p.m. Monday outside 308 Third St. in Snow Hill.
Sheriff Smith says 25-year-old Quinsey Moore of 302 N. Greene St. was shot in the side. He was transported to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Smith says Moore is expected to recover.
Sheriff Smith says the shooting stemmed from an argument over a girl.
Two people are charged in the shooting. 23-year-old Timothy McNair, Jr. and 38-year-old Keisha Dixon each face one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and one count of discharging a weapon into an occupied building.
