UPDATE: POLICE: NYC Drug Suspects Had 1,000 Bags Of Heroin

Two people from New York City are in a county jail in the East for serious drug charges.

32-year-old Trevor Forte and 33-year-old Ommekaah Wllis are both charged with trafficking opium or heroin. They were booked Monday in the Pitt County Detention Center, each under a $1 million bond.

The Greenville Regional Drug Task Force and the Greenville Police Department’s IMPACT Unit stopped the two in their car on North Memorial Drive in Greenville, acting on a CrimeStoppers tip. Officers who searched the car say they found 1,000 bags of heroin.
