Deputies say a busy three days took drugs and known drug dealers off the streets.

Lenoir County deputies said 14 people in all were arrested after a narcotics and illegal drug round-up.

The three day round-up is credited to the work of not only Lenoir County deputies, but also Kinston police, Jones County deputies, Greenville's Violent Fugitive Task Force, and other state agencies.

Investigators said they were able to take more than 28 grams of powder cocaine off the street, plus 1.5 grams of crack cocaine and 69 grams of marijuana.

Deputies said in the middle of the county-wide bust, they were able to work with Jones County deputies to arrest Michael Hogan on meth and outstanding child support charges after a lab was found in Jones County Thursday.

Deputies from both counties also partnered up for an undercover buy which they say caught Shawn Quinn in the middle of illegal drug activity.

"The drug dealers of Lenoir County have two options available to them, " said Sheriff Chris Hill. "Stop selling drugs or wait for the knock on the door.”
