Deputies Search For Sex Offender

Deputies are looking for a registered sex offender who they say failed to report where he lives.

Thirty-one-year-old Curtis Sanderson is a registered Jones County sex offender. He's wanted for not reporting a change of address and probation violation.

Sanderson is 5'8" and weighs about 180 lbs. Deputies say he has a tattoo of a cross and barbed wire on his right right arm.

I would rather know if someone with a D.W.I stays next to me. More people are killed or hurt by drinking and driving.

Do you have kids in the house? If you do, how would you feel if the pervert came over to visit your daughter?

I would be a parents cause you never really know someone. When you read up on things must people know the person before or its a relative. Funny when you read up on it its not a stranger that commit the crime.

Those had one of those perverts in Farmville who refuses to leave. He was told that he could "visit" the house set up as his residence, but couldn't live there. Supposedly, he set up residence in Greenville, but anyone could do that. I could say that I'm registered in China if I wanted to and get mail there. I know that Harold White is not wanted in Farmville and especially on Contentnea Street.

By the way, the guy in Farmville has MULTIPLE CHARGES against him over many years. He shouldn't be walking the streets now.

I agree completely. it's not right that all are treated as child molesters.

Not all sex offenders Are after our children. You do not have to be a PREDATOR to be on the sexual registry. You could be on it for indecent exposure or having consensual sex with a legal age the laws. I hope you do not get caught peeing in the woods.

if a person gets arrested for having sex with another person then it was obviously not consentual or the person was under age. and peeing in the woods is nothing like peeing out side the elementry school play ground. They should have no privacy and have to check in with police before going to the store thats if they should of even got out of prison at all.

Why is it that every time someone hears "sex offender", it immediately goes straight to some sort of relation with children? Why do you automatically assume that public urination means it was done at a school or somewhere children are present?

You are right. I know a guy who had consensual sex with his girlfriend for months. She was only a few months younger than him, but she was a minor and he was not. When things went wrong in the relationship, she accused him of statutory rape. He is now on the list. That is not fair in my opinion.

it's because so many of these sex offenders are caught doing things with childern; I think what "Get It Right" meant to say was getting caught having consensual sex outside, which is illegal for very good reasons.

And if they are seen peeing in the woods by a child they are arrested as a sex offender. Don't lock the door in your own bathroom and a child walks in, you are a sex offender.

I agree with you bs. They shouldn't have NO RIGHTS, after all, they took the rights away from the one they molested or raped. NO RIGHTS AT ALL.

Quoting you: "They shouldn't have NO RIGHTS" - You're basically saying they should have rights. It's either "They shouldn't have rights." or "They should have no rights." By saying "shouldn't" and "no" together, they cancel each other out and you're saying they should have rights.

Don't think you can get in trouble for having sex with someone of legal age. I better not catch you peeing in the woods beside my house!!!

    • If you allow your teenager to have sex. • If you discipline an unruly child. • If you kiss your naked baby. • If you breastfeed your baby. • If you take pictures of your children naked. • If you’re a teenager taking naked pictures of yourself or your sweetheart. • If you win custody in a nasty divorce. • If you get caught taking a pee. • If you have consensual sex in prison. • If you kiss a student on the cheek. • If you take pictures of children in public. • If you look at children in public. • If you have consensual sex with a teenager.

Put all those elements together then ask yourself, "Would I want that person in my neighborhood?"

yea most of that makes no sense and is not considered a sex offense. sounds like some one is mad about having to register.

No I wouldn't want any of them in my neighborhood. I think all of the non sex offenders are saying, NOT IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD. GET THE GUN OUT AND THEY WILL STAY OUT.

Kudos to WITN for getting the warning out! Sex offenders should not be released from prison to tie up our probation system and prey on our children. Did we learn anything from Jaycee Dugard's case? One offense, throw away the key.
