A registered sex offender is back in jail after deputies say he exposed himself to two women and a child.
Robert Springle of Newport is charged with two counts of indecent exposure. Carteret County deputies say on Wednesday the 58-year-old Springle is accused of standing in front of his window, wearing only a red shirt and touching himself while looking at the two women and a three year old child.
Deputies say the man was originally convicted for engaging in a lewd and lascivious act of indecent exposure in front of a child in 1988 and again in 2004 in Florida. They say Springle must stay on the sex registry for life.
His bond was set at $10,000.
