A man who authorities say played Santa Claus is under arrest in Pitt County for sex crimes involving a child.
Pitt County deputies arrested 62-year-old Norman McGraw of Ayden on Friday.
He's been charged with first degree sexual offense, indecent liberties with a child and tattooing a person under 18.
Deputies say McGraw has played Santa Claus at several area events in recent years.
Investigators say the suspect was a family friend of the victim.
Warrants say the girl was 13-years-old at the time and the offenses took placed from January 1st, 2010 to March 2nd, 2011 near Ayden.
Court documents say the man tattooed an image near the victim's private areas.
McGraw is in jail under a $1 million bond.
