An Eastern Carolina man is accused of stealing from his neighbors and then selling the loot on Craigslist. Deputies say this isn't the first time he's done this.
Craig Ethier of Newport is facing 13 counts of larceny and possession of stolen goods, as well as larceny of a firearm and obtaining property by false pretenses.
Carteret County deputies say Ethier hit homes, sheds and garages in the Paradise East Community where he also lives. They expect more charges to be filed as more victims come forward.
Detectives say this isn't the 21-year-old's first run-in with the law. He was released from prison last November after serving a two year sentence for more than 25 similar crimes in the same neighborhood.
Ethier remains behind bars on a $50,000 bond.
