More than a pound and a half of pot and more than $45,000 has been seized from a couple in the east.
The Pitt county Sheriff's Office arrested 30-year-old Gregory Lofton and 25-year-old Tiffany King of Snohan Road in Ayden on Wednesday.
Deputies say they searched the home and found the marijuana and the cash.
The couples is charged with Possession with intent to sell and deliver and Maintaining a dwelling to Sell and Deliver.
According to Pitt county detectives, The North Carolina Probation and Parole Office assisted in this arrest, since Lofton is currently on probation in another county for other charges.
He's currently in the Pitt County under a $250,000 bond.
Tiffany King bonded out under a $15,000 bond.
