Case Continued For NC Man Who Tried To Pass $1Million Dollar Bill

The case of a North Carolina man accused of trying to spend a million-dollar bill at a WalMart has been continued.

A deputy at the Davidson County jail said records showed the case against 53-year-old Michael Fuller was continued until Friday, Jan. 6.

Investigators said Fuller tried to buy a vacuum cleaner, a microwave oven and other items. Store employees called police after his insistence that the bill was legit.

The largest bill in circulation is $100. The government stopped making bills of up to $10,000 in 1969.

Fuller is charged with attempting to obtain property by false pretense and uttering a forged instrument. He is in jail on a $17,500 bond.

This guy needs a commitment, not a jail cell. There is a thing called officer discresion. They should have taken him in for a psych evaluation. He needs help.

♫ When I was younger, so much younger than today, I never needed anybody's help in any way. But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured, Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors. Help me if you can, I'm feeling down And I do appreciate you being round. Help me, get my feet back on the ground, Won't you please, please help me." ♫

If he didn't get to purchase anything, I don't see the issue. It's really absurd. Let the man go. Go after Bev Perdue instead.

Aww, somebody played a mean trick and gave that man that bill. He just knew he was gonna vacuum the house and microwave him a hot meal!
