A man suspected of using stolen credit cards in Greenville surrendered to police at the Pitt County Detention Center.
Keontae Ward, 21, was identified in surveillance pictures released to the public Monday, according to the Greenville Police Department. The pictures were released in reference to a car break-in at North
Campus Crossing Apartments in Greenville and stole a wallet and credit cards. Police say the suspect used the credit cards at local stores to make several purchases.
Detectives are working to see if Ward is connected to any other recent, similar crimes.
Today they released surveillance video of the man after be broke into a car at North Campus Crossing Apartments and took a wallet and credit cards. Those cards were then used at local stores to make several purchases.
Police believe the same man is responsible for other car break-ins over the past couple of months.
He is described as a heavy black male, 5'8" tall and weighs approximately 225 pounds. His vehicle is possibly a Buick.
