A murder overnight is under investigation in Goldsboro.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office says they're investigating the murder of 25-year-old Justin Lancaster of Moore Allen Street in Dudley. Deputies were called to Linen Lane outside Goldsboro at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday, where they found Lancaster lying on the street, near his car. Deputies say it appears Lancaster was shot, but the medical examiner will do an autopsy.
