ECSU Student Charged After College Threat

A student has been arrested in connection with Monday's evacuation at the College of the Albermarle in Elizabeth City.

Authorities say Margaret White was charged with misdemeanor cyber stalking. Officials say she is a student at Elizabeth City State University.

Classes at the campus resumed today.

The 18-year-old White is from Tyner in Chowan County and was released on a $10,000 bond. White has an October 31st court date.

So heres the irony, I was interviewed by WITN when this happened, not knowing who or what was going on at the time. As it turns out This girl is a former student of my boyfriend and was even his wrestling team manager. Go figure. But on her part he did say she never got in any trouble, was always a good kid.

Did I miss something in the article? How does anyone know she is black? I know lots of people who have gone/go to ECSU that are white. I also don't know of many black families with the last name "White" right off hand.

Once again, Crystal Mangum was the liar who falsly accused duke lacrosse players of raping her. later they were found, innocent - which is a much stronger statement than not guilty. her lies cost a coach his job, a team their season, and several young men their reputation as well as a great deal of money for legal fees. what did is cost her? nothing. Jessie Jackson & Al Sharpton paid for that. the Duke faculty supported her before the facts were out. and never once has she apologized for her lies. Must not have been important??? i think differently... she lied & several lives were hurt.

Well karma is a great thing seeing that she is now behind bars for murder. She got hers in the end and now she will have a lot of time to think it over in her jail cell.

The problem with this whole thing is not the color of your skin. America needs to stop using this as a crutch black or white in this case it doesn't matter. Whites do the same dumb stuff. The problem today is respect for each other. It's not ok to take stuff from people just beacuse you want it or blame people for something that has no bearing on day to day life. America is it's own worst enemy we have let people do almost anything with no consequences. Steal you get popped on the hand, kill someone go to jail for some time. Go back to the old days make people think before they react. If they have consequences like losing a hand for stealing or put to death for killing I don't like we would have problems in this country like we do. This whole incident was stupid from the start, black or white who cares it was stupid. I blame a lot of this on our government for writing laws for criminals and not the victim.

Unless you have lived under a rock for an extended amount of time you would know she was the so called "victim" in the Duke Lacrosse case. Try being a little more informed before looking like an ignorant imbecile.
