Goldsboro Police have confirmed a shooting that took place early Wednesday morning.
Officials say a 44-year-old male was shot in the leg at a location on N. Slocum St. around 1 a.m. The victim was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital where he is currently listed in fair condition.
Police have a suspect, but a warrant has not yet been issued. The case is still under investigation.
