Goldsboro Murder Suspect In Custody


A suspect wanted in the murder of a Goldsboro man is now in jail.

Goldsboro police released Gerald Lee's picture to the media Thursday and by Friday morning, Detective say they had him in custody.

Authorities tells us, Lee, turned himself in for October 24th murder of 25-year-old Justin Lancaster.

Lancaster was found on Linen Lane in Goldsboro, lying in the street near his car with an apparent gunshot wound.

Lee has been charged with one count of murder and is in jail under no bond.

Authorities in the east have named a suspect in a murder that happened late last year.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office says they're looking for 19-year-old Gerald Lee for the murder of Justin Lancaster of Dudley. Lancaster, 25, was found on Linen Lane in Goldsboro, lying in the street near his car with an apparent gunshot wound on October 24 of last year.
