A teenager has been charged with the murder of a Wayne County man that happened earlier this month. Investigators say the murder may be gang related.
Deputies say Giovanny Rodriguez of Mount Olive was arrested for murder and discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling.
On September 1st deputies say they found Uber Salas with a gunshot wound at 130 White Dogwood Lane outside of Goldsboro. He died later at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The 16-year-old Rodriguez was arrested Friday and is being held without bond.
