A suspect is under arrest in a robbery with a bizarre twist: the robber was covering his face by wearing a pair of boxer shorts over his head.
Erico Jordan, 35, is charged with common law robbery for the incident at the Kangaroo Express at 2600 S. Charles Blvd. in Greenville. Police say around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, the clerk was ordered to hand over cash from the register by a man with underwear on his head. The robber threatened the clerk he would hurt him if he didn't hand over the cash.
Police say they set up a perimeter of the area and found Jordan. Officers recovered the stolen money as well as the boxer shorts used as a mask.
Jordan's bond was set at $25,000. He's scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
