The Dare County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery of a convenience store where the suspect was armed with a gun and was wearing a face mask and sunglasses.
It happened around 1:38 Saturday at Hatchell's Convenience Store on Roanoke Island.
Investigators say during the robbery, an a fight occurred and the suspect ran from the area.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'9, weighing around 160 to 180 lbs.
