A New Bern woman has been arrested on a Governor's warrant from Arkansas.
Versa Treece was already in the Carteret County jail after her arrest last month by state wildlife officers on two counts of possession of narcotics. On Thursday Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe issued a warrant for Treece to be brought back to Clinton, Arkansas.
The 50-year-old woman is now being held without bond awaiting her return to Arkansas.
