An autopsy says an elderly woman died from eleven wounds that were found on the woman's head.

90-year-old Goldie Hall's body was found September 27th, days after a fire was reported at the woman's home and she was nowhere to be found.

Carteret County deputies charged the woman's great-niece, Rhonda Hagan, with her murder.

The autopsy, which was released today, says multiple head injuries caused the woman's death. It says Hall lent money to the suspect's mother and deputies reported that Hagan claimed her great-aunt fell and hit the back of her head in a struggle.

Hagan remains in jail without bond.
