A Marine stationed at New River Air Station is accused of sex crimes involving an 8-year-old girl.
Private Dain Larson is charged with four counts of felonious indent exposure and four counts of felonious indecent liberties with a minor.
Pender County deputies say the 23-year-old was arrested this morning and that the Marine and child lived in the same apartment complex in the Hampstead area.
Deputies say they focused their investigation on four specific events over a two month period.
Larson, assigned to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 29, is in jail on a $400,000 bond.
