DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - A 9-year-old Durham boy has died a week after he was shot.
Police said Friday that Jaeden Sharpe had died from his injuries.
The boy and his mother, 31-year-old Lakeisha Holloway, were in an SUV at about 6 p.m. on Jan. 4 when shots were fired into the vehicle.
Holloway drove to a nearby street to get help. She and her son were taken to a hospital, and authorities have not released information about Holloway's condition.
No arrests have been made.
