Two people were shot and seriously injured in Wilmington early Sunday morning.
Two officers on patrol heard gunfire about 4:00 a.m. and found two men who had been shot near North 4th and Swann Streets.
Police report both shooting victims were taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center where they were in surgery Sunday morning.
There is no word on their names or conditions.
A man was stopped for questioning, but no one has been charged.
Detectives are still conducting interviews and canvassing the area.
Police say aditional information will be released later today as details are confirmed.
