Fight Over Video Game System Leads To Stabbing, Arrest

Deputies say a fight over a game system has led to one person being stabbed and another in jail.

Halifax County deputies have charged 17-year-old Divante Lee of Roanoke Rapids with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

They say Almonzo Mills was stabbed in his back on Sunday and also received a broken leg and a cut on his hand in the fight. The 27-year-old Mills accused Lee of stealing his game system.

Lee is in jail on a $10,000 bond.

    I have to assume that these kids are somehow mentally impaired because WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND would behave in such a way???? On the flip side, I know a little boy whose ambition is to break his leg when he grows up because his father has made a career out of collecting Worker's Comp and he doesn't know any different.

    WOW!!! Over a game! He could of went and raked leaves to get the money up for a game system!!
