Fugitive Caught After Year On The Run

A fugitive on the run for more than a year is behind bars after an early morning arrest Wednesday.

Halifax County lawmen say they arrested Terrill Harrison on South Sycamore St. in South Weldon just after midnight.

Cpl. C.E. Carroll, Detective Tyree Davis, Deputies Chris High and Earl Richardson of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office along with Weldon Police Department Sergeant Will Shaw and North Carolina Probation Officer Rodney Robinson surrounded the home, a press release says.

Harrison was taken into custody without incident.

Harrison was arrested for Probation Violation, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Possession with Intend to Sell and Deliver Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While License Revoked, Simple Assault and Trespassing. Harrison was put in the halifax county jail under an $11,000 bond.

Harrison is due in court on December 7.

Who ever set the bond should also have to face a trial, for having a lax brain.

Well, given his circumstance and previous criminal record and knowing the fact that he was on the run for a year, LETS "HOPE" that NO bondsmen will be dumb enough to bail him out. Hopefully they are all smart enough to know better. Keep him in jail.

This man is FUGITIVE, on run for YEAR,and given BOND. AND, if that is not bad enough, his crimes includes DRUG SELL and his bond is ONLY 11,000. Is there any common sense in any aspect of the North Carolina criminal justice system?
