Shooting Victim: "I Thought I Was Going To Die"

A woman shot in the face says she thought she was about to die.

Shawana Pittman, 24 year-old, was shot over the weekend while hanging out in her sister's Greenville neighborhood. She was released from the hospital Tuesday.

Shawana's brother Travis was also shot. He is still in the hospital recovering.

Shawana says one second they were hanging out with family and friends, then she heard gunshots. Next thing she realized she was one of the ones that had been hit. Shawana told her mom, "I was just like mom I'm about to die, I'm about to die, I'm scared, and my mom held me and started hugging me and just said hold on baby hold on."

David Andrews, 16 years-old, is now in jail facing attempted murder charges for the shootings.
