Two Nabbed In Robbery, Kidnapping

Police say they have arrested two of three suspects in a robbery and kidnapping that began at a Cracker Barrel parking lot.

It happened Wednesday night at the Cracker Barrel on Enterprise Drive in Rocky Mount.

After getting a tip, police were able to arrest Stacey Bryant and Chris Conner for common law robbery and second degree kidnapping. Police are still looking for Jamie Bryant.

The victim told police that after applying for a job at the restaurant, an SUV with three men inside blocked her car in. They forced the woman to drive to a nearby gas station and use her debit card to put $20 of gas in the robber's vehicle.

The two men arrested are jailed under $30,000 secured bonds.

Maybe these three guys heard it was going to be a long, cold winter and just wanted to make early reservarions for their rooms at the local jail. Makes you wonder about this younger generation and what they are thinking, if they think at all. Is there something in the water at Rocky Mount that makes people do stupid things ?

So let me see if I got this right. Three grown adults thought this was a good idea for 20 dollars worth of gas? Rob somebody and then add kiddnapping charges on top of that!! These three aren't very smart. They deserve everything they get from here out. Wow!!
