Armed Robbery In Greenville

An armed robbery occurred Sunday night on Memorial Drive in Greenville, and the police are still searching for the suspect.

Greenville Police say a man wearing a "Scream" mask held up the Taco Bell on Memorial Drive, near the hospital late Sunday night. Police say he had a shotgun when he robbed the fast food restaurant at 11 p.m. Sunday.

Police say they blocked off some nearby streets as a K-9 tried to track the suspect, but the trail went cold.

We should have the Florida law, 10 years for crime with firearm, 20 years if fired, life without parole if injury is involved, "10, 20, life" also have it posted on highway bill boards similar to Florida.

This has nothing to do with Maslow's hierarchy of needs. It has everything to do with a Thug's hierarchy of wants. This will continue happening and will get worse until the courts stop turning the criminals back out and until the citizens arm themselves to take their community back...

I don't condone robbery...just saying, there is no other choice for them. Maslow's hierarchy of needs. They are at the bottom level. Google Maslow's needs and see.

At least he didn't have to go too far from home to pull his thuggery.

It says he was wearing a scream mask. That's an old costume. Police should be on the lookout on Halloween when he'll have the opportunity dress up and rob college students and his mask won't even look suspicious.

Yeh Right: Anonymous was using sarcasm. Will, I wish you were right here in your prognostication. Unfortunately, Rose and Mildred are in office for life. What is Rose's other job or career, by the way? Always have wondered this. The other candidates are all chirping the party line, that Chief Anderson is OK and that the worsening crime we all know exists is merely our misperceptions. Kittrell/Mayor Dunn/Calvin Mercer all repeat this same bogus claim. Not sure about Joyner. It is the politically correct thing to claim and none of these pols wish to rock the boat. Yes, even if it means that the citizens they are elected to represent are targets and are getting victimized. They all have a vested interest in the status quo- this interst pertains to their ego, their pocketbooks, or both. Very frustrating. So far, citizens continue to elect the panderers, the good ol' boys, and the names that they are familiar with. To their own detriment.

I pcking a piece also, If it is alright to comment armed robbery because you are too lazy to work for food or crack, it is alright for me to carry my gun and shoot him if he attemps to rob me. That's Why I carry my gun loaded, I'm Ready for them. I am going to protect myself and family, anyone, I can. Cause the ones that are suppose to protect the people fail to perform. Mayor is sick, Chief police sick too, they ought to be hanging around the hospital area

It's NOT okay to rob period, I can't believe you have some sympathy for them. All you care about is you, and you could careless if your neighbor gets robbed.
