To each his own, but I don't condone boys wearing earrings or getting mohawks. However, I'm on the conservative side when it comes to fashion, so I don't expect everyone to agree with me. I believe in tolerance. God gave everyone a free will, so let's take God's example and leave people free to style themselves however they desire.

I agree. Don't ruin baby boys by putting earrings in their ears! They look...well...ghetto. As for the mohawks. WHAT THE !@#$. Your kids will grow up to look like big dummies all by themselves. Don't do that to a poor innocent baby! They didn't do anything to deserve to look stupid. Well, except have parents that were and thats still not its fault. Now start screaming and yelling all you big dummies that do it!!! This is too much fun.

Rocky Mount, NC, another area to avoid taking your business to! I will be sure to let all my 'out of town' friends know not to go there, or Greenville.

I don't think piercing a baby's ears is appropriate. It should be left up to the human being if they want piercing. Certain cultures think this is appropriate to differentiate between the well as the use of Tatoos. Look it up if you have any doubt. Piercing a baby's ears is for the enjoyment of the parents...not the baby's. I have heard them scream at the so-called Jewelers in the cheap stores where it is done.

It all starts at home. If a child is left to take care of themself, they learns to be a criminal or thug. They are raised by the streets. If they are shown love and a model of responsibility then they learn to be responsible. Parents need to wake up, if things don't change it could be your child next. As for it being a BREED issue, the statistics speak for themselves.

Girls. Before you get pregnant or before you deliver your baby remember this. It does not cost a thing to be a good mother but everyone pays when you are a bad one. Babies are a big responsibility not just dolls to put expensive clothes and tennis shoes on. Babies need love, continuity and discipline. They need you to read to them and show an interest in their school work. They need your love, support, and praise when they deserve it and sometimes when they don't. Take them to church and surround them with good role models. I swear if you do this you will probably have a child you are very proud of one day. Not one you visit in a prison. PS Parents. Please stop piercing baby boys ears (they look like girls) and giving them mohawks! They are not poodles they are babies!
