DENVER -- A Justice Department statement says a terror investigation is ongoing after the arrests of three people in Colorado and New York City.
Authorities say the FBI is still investigating several individuals in the United States, Pakistan and elsewhere in an alleged plot to detonate explosive devices in the U.S.
The government statement emphasized authorities don't know the timing or location of any planned attack.
The three men arrested are all charged with lying to federal investigators and are due in federal courtrooms tomorrow.
Najibullah Zazi and his father, Mohammed Wali Zazi, were arrested by federal agents yesterday in a Denver suburb. Ahmad Wais Afzali was arrested in New York City.
Authorities say all three are from Afghanistan.
