Shooting In Craven County

Details are still coming in on a shooting that happened last night in Craven County.

Dispatchers say a man was shot on Southwest Craven Middle School Road in Craven County Thursday evening. That road is off Highway 55, north of New Bern. Officials say the victim was able to drive himself to New Bern, where he ended up taking an East Care flight to Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.

No word yet on any arrests or how the man is doing. We'll keep you posted.

    it is not the police its the deputies that are investigating it and they are doing the best they can. trust me my husband was late coming home for being out there working it. so back off and give them as much support as they need to close the call
