Police Find Hundreds Of Counterfeit DVDs and CDs

Police say they found hundreds of counterfeit DVDs and CDs Monday night during a routine traffic stop.

Earl Brake of Rocky Mount is charged with felony possession of counterfeit/pirated sound records, felony possession of video/DVDs, possession of marijuana and operating a vehicle with no insurance.

Rocky Mount police say they stopped Brake's car on South Church Street. Inside his car police say they found 1,116 counterfeit DVDs and 476 counterfeit CDs.

Brake's bond was set at $5,000 which he posted at the magistrate's office.

    Forget the gang bangers. Here's a REAL problem. Good thing HE wasn't packing heat, he might've got got away with it.

    Wow, they are stopping people that sell dvds, locking innocent people up for multiple homicides, and got crooked cops on the force getting busted for tampering with evidence...this is Rocky Mount's Finest people....

    If Rocky Mount Police would solve these crimes in Rocky Mount instead of doing traffic stops looking for counterfiet DVDs and CD's maybe the city's crime would decrease. This is a waste of a story!
