Cops Look For Robber Who Held Up Two Businesses

Police say they believe the same man is responsible for two armed robberies in the Rocky Mount area this week.

Friday they released a surveillance photo of the robber as he entered the Family Dollar Store in Dortches.

In the Family Dollar robbery Thursday morning, the man was armed with a small black handgun. He left in a 2000 or 2001 green Toyota Camry 4-door.

On Wednesday night the Quality Inn on Benvenue Road was held up. A portion of the stolen money was found behind a nearby Precision Tune.

The robber is described as a white man, thin build, 5'7" to 5'11" tall.

Anyone who knows who the robber is should call Twin County Crimestoppers at 252-977-1111.

With advances in technology, you would think they will have better quality video recording. This can be anybody. What kind of moron will rob a Family Dollar? I would be suspicious of someone entering the store with a hoodie in the summer.
