Kinston Woman Gets 10 Years Behind Bars For Selling Meth

A Kinston woman will spend the next 10 years behind bars for trying to sell meth.

22 year old Yadira Avilez-Lopez was sentenced in Federal Court for the crime.

In June, she pleaded guilty to possession with the intent to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.

Following her 10 years behind bars, she'll have 50 years of supervised release.
