Neighbors of a North Carolina man accused of killing one of six women found dead on the outskirts of rural Rocky Mount say he kept mostly to himself, but many are convinced he's innocent.
Earlier this week, police charged 31-year-old Antwan Maurice Pittman with first degree murder. Authoritie say he killed 29-year-old Taraha Shenice Nicholson, one of six women found dead in a rural area of Rocky Mount.
One of Pittman's neighbors, 56-year-old Leroy Silver, says he thinks Pittman is innocent because he didn't have a car and looked like a normal person.
Others say they're concerned because they think the real killer is still out there.
Thomas Moore, Pittman's court-appointed attorney, says his client is scared about what will happen to him.
