5 People Placed In Bathroom While Suspect Flees With The Cash

It was a scary situation for a few people in the east after being involved in an armed robbery.

Greenville police are currently looking for a man that walked into the Carolina Insurance Agency on West 14th Street.

Police say a man pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the two employees inside.

Three customers were inside at the time along with the two employees and they were put in the bathroom of the business.

The man then left the agency with an undisclosed amount of money.

He is described as 5 foot 8 weighing about 160 pounds and wearing a black Yankees cap with a white t-shirt and black long shorts. Sunday's Reflector indicates that the suspect is described as a black male.

If you have any information you are asked to call authorities.

There was crime before President Obama there will be crime during his presidency and there will be crime after. President Obama did not cause someone to break into an insurance agency. The suspect in this particular circumstance was black...if you were on that street or work there and have a security camera or for some reason were shooting pictures that is quite helpful as far as description in concerned. The only people making a big deal about what color the suspect is are those that hold onto and perpetuate racism. Racism can be found everywhere or no where depending on your vision. Also, Cindi please do all of your fellow Americans a favor and keep your ignorant remarks to yourself. You may enjoy living with hate and anger, but as for most we like to progress.

I feel for the employees. My office went through the same thing in 2001. Armed robbery and forced into the bathroom by the dirt bag. I was 7 months pregnant at the time and it was a most unnerving experience. Right at that moment the color of the skin is not relevant when you have a gun pointed in your face. For months afterward, each customer that came in you looked at differently wondering, could that have been the one? It is an experience that I have never forgotten even 7 years later. It was hard coming back to the office the next morning going on with business as if nothing happened. I hope for the employees sake they catch the creep and fast!

It's not a good idea for a cop to pull out his weapon and start firing in an office full of people so why would it be a good idea for a citizen to do the same thing. Carry permit or not. "Oh yeah, Your mom got killed because some 'gunslinger' pulled his piece and started shootin'at someone who tried to rob the office." What...for $500?!? I'm just sayin'...Too many trigger-happy wannabe's runnin' around.

We again see the problem with some companies that do not allow employees to carry concealed. I am not sure if this insurance company has that policy but it would have been ideal for this thug to have been capped the second he pulled gun. When that happens enough times you will see a dramatic decrease in crime. We have already seen a decrease in the number of violent crimes as gun ownership has gone up. Now you see more non-violent crime when criminals know that people are not around.

To Otis in Choco: If Bush hadn't started the eight year war , maybe cities would have enough money to fight crime.

Thus color? Well, I guess he was white then. The Daily Reflector said he was black, but it looks like you thought he was white by saying he was "thug" color. Fool! That made so much sense,Ihad to laugh! But "I" did however make my point.Thug color is equal to what???????? NOW,Obammy is not white...go back to the "one drop rule" if has one drop of thug he is all thug!
