Employees Injured In Restaurant Hold-Up

Two employees were injured during a restaurant robbery Thursday night in Kinston.

The Pizza Inn on North Herritage Street was robbed around 9:30 p.m.

Kinston police say they found employees Hiaram Daniels and Jesse Grant bleeding from head wounds. They were ordered by the robbers to lay on the ground and then struck with a blunt object.

Police say the robbers got away with the money from the business, a cell phone and car keys from one of the employees.

The two workers were treated for their injuries at Lenoir Memorial Hospital, which is right across the street from the restaurant.

These two thugs will make a mistake one day and one of we law abiding citizens with a concealed weapons permit will even the score with these two pieces of human trash.

T is obviously one of the children left behind, because his reading skills appear to be non-existent. Pay attention and read what is written before you make yourself look foolish. Of seven comments posted, not a one had any concern of the injuries that the two employees received. Guess the next time I use the drive through I'll take my legally carried Beretta and help out if the folks need help. Hope you guys are OK.

It's a shame the employees didn't shoot the robbers, but if the resturant serves any type of alcohol then they can't arm themselves. This would be thanks to Deborah Ross (D-Wake) and Ronnie Sutton (D-Roberson) the two biggest anti-gun politicos in NC. Ross has successfully killed several pro-rights gun bills by not allowing them out of committee. She apparently does this due to personal reasons and not due to the will of the people. The Castle Doctrine has been held by her for over 3 months, after all but 2 voted for it! She pretends to be pro 2nd amendment when the votes are NOT there to pass and then votes for it. Pretending she is pro-gun! If one of the bills had been passed, then patrons as well as employees of a resturant that serves alcohol could carry a weapon for personal protection as long as they were not consuming alcohol. Thank you Ross for putting my and their safety in jeopardy!!! Someone needs to call her to task over her actions! We will next election!
