Detention Hearing For Terror Suspects Continues Wednesday

The detention hearing for seven suspects accused of terrorism continues in Raleigh Wednesday.

Federal authorities say the accused ringleader of a group of North Carolina terrorism suspects talked of loving jihad, fighting for Allah and despising a U.S. military presence at Muslim holy sites.

During a detention hearing Tuesday, officials said Daniel Boyd told his family in June that "Muslims must be protected at all costs."

Federal officials played recordings of the 39-year-old Boyd talking to his family and a witness.

FBI Special Agent Michael Sutton says Boyd wanted the men, including two of his sons, to engage in violent jihad, train on firearms and travel overseas.

The seven men were charged last week with plotting attacks in a foreign country and an eighth is being sought. Officials have not named their alleged targets nor said the men were successful at carrying out any schemes.

I guess DHS should reconsider their view on the christian, pro life, gun loving, Ron Paul supporters, anti illegal, and returning soldier who they said was the new terrorist. They are not the ones to worry about. Seems to me that these people will be the ones protecting us from muslims. I'm glad they was caught before harm came here to the USA.

I guess we'll just have to let them go! Can't carry them to Gitmo, its terrible place where they take away their clothes, humiliate them etc. but its ok if they behead our people! Maybe the "one" can make them foreign liason czars or join his cabinet! We can't incarcerate them in NC because our prisons are overcrowded until we lower the penalty for cimes! I think Washington, DC is a good place for them!
