Police Investigate Two School Break-Ins 12 Hours Apart

Two school break-ins in two days, that's what Rocky Mount police are investigating.

The first one happened Sunday evening at Rocky Mount High School. Police say they got an alarm call and during a search found Stacy Reaves going through a desk in a classroom.

Reaves was charged with felony breaking and entering and bond was set at $5,000.

Monday morning police were called to Parker Middle School where they found rear windows in two classrooms opened. Police say someone came into the rooms and vandalized them using fire extinguishers. Those responsible also stole three video projectors and two wireless VGA adaptors.

Anyone with information on this school break-in is urged to call Rock Mount police.

This is my tax dollars these punks are messing with. I say if found guilty, they should get 50 lashes and 5 years hard labor.

Hope RMPD reads the web. Otherwise they won't know the two cases may be connected. It takes 4-7 times (like the serial killer) for them to see a connection.
