Amber Alert Baby Found Safe

A baby who was the subject of a Virginia Amber Alert has been found safe.

Police say Naomi Hilel was found unattended in Newport News.

Authorities in northeast North Carolina were alerted to the abduction because of its close proximity and the unknown direction of the stolen mini-van.

Police says the 18-month old was abducted at a convenience store in Virginia Beach. They say the baby’s mother was pumping gas when a man pushed her out of the way and stole her minivan. The baby was inside.

Police are still looking for 24-year-old Matthew Nash of Norfolk. He is 5'10", 200 pounds, long light hair. Nash is wearing a plaid shirt, dark short pants, dark tennis shoes and a ballcap.

The van is a 2009 grey-green Honda Odyssey with a Florida tag HASHEM1. It was last seen on Greenwich Road in Virginia Beach.

I sent up a prayer as soon as I read that this little girl had been abducted. Thank you Lord for keeping her safe. All things are possible if we put our faith in Jesus Christ! He is continuing to answer prayers!!

Ginny, I empathize with your comments but you are applying normal standards of decency to a filthy POS who thinks nothing like you or I.

Thank God this child has been found. My question is why would this idiot just drop a child, 18 months old, off in a parking lot? She was still in harms way. If dropping her off was the option he should have been compassionate to this child's safety, not his desire not to be caught. When the suspect is caught he should be proscuted to the fullest, every possible charge charged.

I pray that God sends his holiest of angels to surround this child and to protect her and may the angel of the Lord keep a watchful eye on this man!

Kidnapping. This is an instant federal charge because a person was in the car and taken without their consent. Sick-em Marshals.
